Indian Plumbing Conference (IPC) is the national conference of plumbing fraternity organized by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) and held at different cities in India.
21st IPC was held in Hotel Clarks Amer in the Pink City Jaipur, on March 18 and 19, 2016. It was attended by all stake holders in the construction industry – Developers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, Manufacturers, Dealers and End Users.
Jaipur, the capital of the State of Rajasthan, is expected to be a Mega City by the year 2015, with a population of over 10 million people in an area of 800 sq. kM. The city is strategically located at the confluence of three national highways, namely NH-8 (Delhi- Mumbai), NH-11 (Bikaner – Agra) and NH-12 (Jaipur – Jabalpur). With flourishing tourism, manufacturing, export, trade & industry and educational infrastructure, Jaipur is witnessing a boom in real estate market. The growth prospect of the Rajasthan in general and Jaipur in particular was one of the reasons for IPA for conducting the 21st IPC in Jaipur.
Considering the size and scope of the buildings being constructed in India, attention to good construction methods and practices are being given due importance. Keeping with this need, ‘Water Conservation through Good Plumbing Practices’ was chosen as the theme of the conference. Domain experts, from India and abroad, presented technical papers and participated in panel discussions.
A concurrent exhibition was also held to display and demonstrate modern, innovative products & technologies for good plumbing installations.
Let us meet in Kolkata in November, 2016 for the 22nd IPC.
