Indian Plumbing Association Celebrates World Plumbing Day 2026

The Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) celebrated World Plumbing Day 2026 across 20+ chapters in India, engaging over 5,000 participants including students, engineers, plumbers, and industry stakeholders. This year’s theme, “I Save Water: Shaping Tomorrow Through Responsible Use,” focused on water conservation, sustainable plumbing, and public health.

IPA chapters conducted awareness drives, technical sessions, competitions, and community initiatives nationwide. More than 1,500 students participated in creative competitions on water conservation, while technical programs reached over 1,200 site supervisors and engineers to promote water-efficient plumbing practices.

IPA also organized free medical check-ups, blood donation drives collecting 450+ units of blood, and felicitated plumbers for their valuable contribution to society. A major highlight was the “Plumbing Maintenance Training for Women” initiative, promoting skill development and inclusivity in the plumbing sector.

Additional activities such as the “Hug a Plumber” campaign, regional-language webinars, and community celebrations further expanded awareness and participation across India.

Through these impactful initiatives, IPA reinforced the importance of plumbing in protecting public health, conserving water, and building a sustainable future.
